Carlisle United failed to score for the fifth time in six games when they drew 0-0 at Walsall.
For over half an hour they were against 10 men, too, as the Saddlers had Hayden White sent-off after 61 minutes.
The draw meant that the Cumbrians had again slipped-out of the automatic promotion places and sit fourth with five games to play.
It took a long time for the game to come to life and the first shot on target for either side came on 34 minutes.
A 25-yard free-kick from Tom Knowles could have sneaked through but United keeper Tomas Holy got down well to make a smart stop.
The home side were close again early in the second-half when a Knowles free kick was headed just wide with the help of a Carlisle deflection.
White was sent-off after a dangerous tackle on Jack Armer just after Jamille Matt had missed a great chance for Walsall, heading over from another Knowles set-piece.
There were nine minutes of stoppage time and in it Carlisle had their best chance when Owen Moxon had a free header but directed his effort straight at keeper Owen Evans from six yards.
Walsall were desperately holding on at the finish and in the last minute of the nine Ben Barclay also nodded wide from a good position.
