A man found dead on a north Cumbrian beach has been named.
Police have confirmed that he has been formally identified as 38-year-old Dean Beaty, who went missing from Carlisle in December.
He was found on Tuesday on the beach, near Glasson at around 5.30pm.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
