Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam footage following a collision on the A686, near Alston.
It happened on April 16 at about 1.45pm and involved a yellow Lamborghini Huracan and a black-and-white Triumph Daytona motorbike.
The man riding the motorbike sustained a hand injury.
