The West Cumbria Amalgamation are prepared to wait until Tuesday to get in a race after initially putting back the Charnock Richards liberation until Sunday or Monday.
The plans for Saturday were changed on Thursday because of the weather forecast when it was confirmed that the conditions would be monitored accordingly ready to race on Sunday or Monday.
But an update from the Amalgamation last night said: “The weather is not thought to be good enough to race Sunday or Monday so if the forecast does hold up we will race mark Monday for a race on Tuesday.”
The season had opened last Saturday from Garstang when weather conditions were very good.
