Barrow AFC has announced the line up for its second end of season music festival – and it features an array of renowned musicians.
Party on the Pitch will take place at the SO Legal Stadium on Holker Street on Saturday June 3 and DJ Nathan Dawe, rapper Tinchy Stryder and rock band Toploader will be headlining the event.
DJ Pixelkid and singer Dan Connolly alongside several other local bands will also provide support at the festival that will take place between 2pm and 10pm.
Last year’s event saw thousands of people attend with LOWES, Wallis and Bad Boy Chiller Crew headlining.
Kelly Moxham, hospitality and partnership coordinator said: “Our event last year was a huge success and we’re now looking to do it every year. It’s great to have some really good artists on board and it’s really really exciting.
“To bring those people to Barrow – it’s huge, we don’t have much in our area so to be able to offer something like that it really is a good thing. It’s a party to celebrate our season and Barrow are doing really well on the pitch in the football leagues which is just great.

“We’d also like to encourage people from outside of Barrow to come down and get to know Barrow. We’ve been really busy behind the scenes getting things prepped to make sure we have high quality acts coming along – it’s an exciting time.”
Local food vendors will also be in attendance and tickets starting from £28 are on sale now along with VIP and hotel packages.
VIP tickets include fast track entry, access to a private bar and private toilets and entry to after party as well as the VIP zone near the stage. They cost £45 per ticket.
VIP plus tickets cost £60 and include the same perks as the VIP tickets as well as meet and greets with the artists.
Hotel tickets include two standard tickets and a hotel room for two at Holiday Inn Barrow with breakfast. They cost £130.
