Traffic is returning to normal levels in Carlisle following a collision earlier this afternoon.
Cumbria police issued a roads alert to ask drivers to find alternative routes after the incident on the A69 Warwick Road.
Emergency services were called at around 4pm today, May 11.
At 5.55pm, police said the road was clear and traffic had returned to normal.
