Kendal Town are looking for a new number two after the departure of assistant manager Andy Marshall.
Club chairman Michael O’Neill said: “Andy joined us from Millom and did a really good job alongside our manager Jimmy Marshall, who is no relation.
“But he now feels that he is ready to take on a manager’s job himself so he has left us and we wish him all the best wherever he goes.
“In the meantime Jimmy is looking for a new number two and is hoping to appoint someone, possibly from the Preston area.”
