
Kendal Town have been drawn away to Skelmersdale in the first round of the Macron Cup which was made at the 2023 AGM held in Blackpool this weekend.
Kendal Town reached the semi-final last season where they lost to the eventual winners Congleton Town.
Unfortunately Congleton won’t be able to defend the trophy as they have been moved to the Midland League for next season.
Kendal’s opponents Skelmersdale were members of the NPL West Division but were relegated over ground issues.
The draw was carried out by League Vice-Chairman Geoff Wilkinson, witnessed by League Director Martin Fallon with the member clubs representatives drew the balls out of the bag.
The ties will be played on a date to be agreed. .
Holker Old Boys, members of the NWC North Division were also involved in the Macron Cup draw and will have a home tie against Daisy Hill.
The Furness side also have a home draw in the Edwards Case Cup for clubs below the Premier Division and Steeton will be their visitors.
