People still have time to have their say on development plans for two streets in Carlisle city centre.
Proposals to add more outdoor seating, cycle parking, trees and plants are on the cards for English Street and Devonshire Street.
The schemes are funded by the Government’s Future High Street Fund and Town Deal Fund and will be delivered by Cumberland Council.
Vehicular access will be maintained on the streets.
People can tell the authority what they think as part of a consultation until July 1.

With nearby regeneration projects at Carlisle Station and the University of Cumbria’s new Citadels Campus, more than £80 million of public funding is being invested in Carlisle city centre. This aims to maximise the area’s potential, diversify the offer, increase footfall and attract and retain more people at the heart of the city.
The council is reminding people that the consultation continues until Saturday 1 July, and people can comment on the website or collect a paper survey from the reception at Cumberland Council, Cumbria House, Bothchergate, Carlisle.
Denise Rollo, executive member for sustainable, resilient and connected places, said: “The proposed plans for Devonshire Street and English Street have been designed to enhance the area and create a more vibrant and welcoming environment.
“This initiative has already received positive feedback from both businesses and residents who attended the face-to-face events.
“Cumberland Council values the opinions and feedback of the community and is eager to hear what people have to say regarding the proposed plans. To ensure that everyone has an opportunity to provide feedback the online survey will remain open until Saturday July 1, and it only takes five minutes to complete.”
