
Three men have been arrested in connection with a raid on a Workington outdoors shop in the early hours.
Over £1,000-worth of goods were taken from Trespass, in Ivison Lane – part of the Washington Square development – at around 12.40am today, Monday July 3.
A front window to the premises was smashed so the thieves could get in.
Cumbria police said their enquiries led them to a nearby flat, which officers searched.
A 47-year-old man and a 28-year-old man, both from Whitehaven, were arrested on suspicion of burglary A third man aged 38 and from Workington was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and handling stolen goods.
All three men remain in police custody this morning.
