The M6 has now reopened following a serious collision this morning.
The incident, involving a lorry and a van, happened between Junction 41 at Catterlen and Junction 42 at Carlisle South at around 7am and the road was shut as emergency services attended.
The road reopened at around 9.10am. Lane three is still closed southbound due to barrier damage.
