Lake District attack leaves man with broken jaw

A man had his jaw broken during a Lake District assault.

The incident, which involved two men, took place in Windermere on Tuesday, July 18 on Elleray Road, near the junction of the A591 at around 11.15pm.

Police would like to talk to a dog walker who was seen in the area at the time, described as a white man with short hair wearing a dark jacket, jeans and white trainers walking a small terrier-type dog.
