Carlisle MP John Stevenson has kickstarted his summer tour around the constituency.
Mr Stevenson will be visiting businesses, local groups, organisations and tourist attractions and holding face-to-face drop-ins in towns and villages across Carlisle as well as the usual surgeries in the constituency office.
He said: “Parliament has risen for the summer recess, giving me the perfect opportunity to spend the summer touring around the constituency, visiting the many fantastic places Carlisle has to offer.
“This year in addition I am holding drop-ins around the constituency, so I can reach out to as many residents as possible.
“This also includes some of the areas that will form part of the new Carlisle constituency in the future, and I am encouraging people to drop by if they have any questions on the boundary changes.”
