Carlisle United have landed Fulham striker Terry Ablade on a season-long loan and will be in contention for Saturday’s game against Port Vale.
Announcing the signing, the official club website reported that Ablade, 20, is a Finnish striker who signed for Fulham in July 2018 from FC Jazz in his home country.
Renowned as a player with pace and power he took to the Under-18’s level with aplomb, scoring a brace in his first start against Southampton, and his performances during the 2019/20 season saw him make the leap up to PL2 football for the following campaign.
He spent the second half of the 2021/22 season with League One side AFC Wimbledon where he made 12 appearances.
He netted 10 goals in 23 games across all competitions for the Under-21s last term, having also featured for the team in the EFL Trophy group games in October 2020.
His first senior outing was recorded when he came on for the second half of the EFL Cup away meeting with Crawley last August.
