Workington Town will complete their regular League One fixtures this week by playing tonight and on Sunday.
Anthony Murray takes his side to Oldham tonight for a rearranged game, while Town host Hunslet on Sunday.
“It’s hard enough for full time professionals playing mid-week games but it really is tough on part-timers who have jobs to go to during the day.
“Grant Reid and Liam McNicholas are both unavailable to us for the Oldham game and Liam McAvoy is suspended, so I will have to change things around.
“But with a game on Sunday as well I would have been looking at rotating in any case. It does give an opportunity to other players.
“The thing is Oldham are in the same boat as us with a game on Sunday and I imagine they will have one eye on that,” said coach Murray.
Town can still finish fourth in the final League One table but defeat tonight would mean a fifth place finish ahead of the play-offs.
Meanwhile Murray says that talks are ongoing with members of the current squad that he wants for next season.
“We are also looking at adding others from outside the club and want to get as much business done early as we can,” he added.
