
A man who died following a collision on Saturday south of Gretna has been named.
Charles Birse, 62, of Carlisle, was on a motorbike when he was involved in the incident with an Audi on Saturday, September 2 at around 3.30pm.
It happened at the junction of the A6071 and M6 slip road, over the M6 motorway.
Two people were arrested following the crash on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. One has since been released with no further action and another has been bailed whilst officers continue with their investigation.
Cumbria police is asking anyone with dashcam which may help or who saw the collision and has yet to come forward to do so.
