Furness have been docked a point for failing to provide a scorer at last week’s Cumbria League game at Keswick.
It means that champions Carlisle now only require a point to be sure of retaining their Premier Division title when they go to Keswick tomorrow.
Furness need to win at Wigton with Carlisle picking up nothing from their game at Fitz Park.
Carlisle will be going to win but even if defeated will retain their crown by picking up a single point.
That can be achieved by batting second and scoring 50 per cent of Keswick’s total, or bowling second and taking two wickets.

The new Championship trophy is to be presented on the day and it will be a pretty special occasion too.
The new trophy has been named in memory of Arthur Lamb, the popular administrator and cricket enthusiast who died suddenly in January at the age of 31.
It will be presented to the winners by his parents
