
Distington have retained their Holmen Iggesund Cumberland ARL crown when they beat Ellenborough A 60-4.
The champions gave senior run-outs to four 16-year-olds and had the game won by half-time when they had established a 44-0 lead.
In the end they scored 11 tries, eight of which were converted by Stephen Clarke.
Leading the way were Lewis Whitehead (3), Jack Penrice (3), Scott Rooke (2), Jack Worthington (2) and Bryan Ritchie.
Ellenborough A did manage to get on the score-sheet in the second-half with a try from Ryley Burr.
Wath Brow A will finish runners-up but they handed-out a reminder to Lowca of the qualities ahead of them in the top four.
Lowca, who finished the season in fourth place, have been producing some good performances of late but were well beaten in this one, going down 50-24.
Wath Brow scored nine tries through Clarke Riley (2), Jenson Olstrum, Luke Spivey, Devan Sharp, Dale Stable, Luke Davison, Brad White and James McCartney. Olstrum converted seven of them.
For Lowca there was a hat-trick of tries from Mitchell Todd and one by Bobby Ennis. Jamie Scott landed four goals.
Maryport also reached a half century as they confirmed a fifth place finish with a 54-20 win over Hensingham A after posting a 30-0 lead at half-time.
Kieran Featherstone (2), Danny Dryden (2), Joel Baker (2), Blake Miller, Chris Ivison and Luke Baker all scored with Blake Miller kicking nine goals.
The Hensingham A tries came from Luke Clements (2), Luke Charlton and Wayne Laverick with one conversion each by John Carrick and Miller Dalton.
There was the same total for Egremont in their mid-week game against Cockermouth as they won 54-30.
Dillon Scott and Aaron Turnbull each scored hat-tricks with Jake Conway, Matt Bewsher and Brad Long also crossing the Cockermouth line. Kaiden Block managed seven goals.
Cockermouth had been in the contest at half-time, only trailing 28-24, but faded out of contention after the break.
Lewis Bancroft (2), Ed Gate, Ash Smith and Lewis Bell scored tries for the Titans with four goals from Gate (3), Regan Tinnion and Callum Fox.
