
Whitehaven have an abundance of junior talent, and they were out in force for the club’s presentation night.
Senior and junior awards were handed out and the club was able to reflect on several outstanding achievements during the season.
The second and third teams, packed with teenage talent, both completed League and Cup doubles.
Medals were awarded to all the second team players to recognise them winning their League and also the Vigodny Cup while the third team members received medals for winning a league and the Burton Cup.
There was also the first presentation of the Arthur Lamb Memorial Trophy recognising the Junior making a successful break-out into senior cricket.
The winner was Harry Vaughan and Arthur’s parents Christopher and Barbara were in attendance with the trophy.
The senior presentation saw the following players receiving awards – Ian Folley Memorial Trophy, Josh Foster; Hugh Jones Memorial Trophy, Kian Larmour; George Rumney Memorial Trophy, Cody Meagan; Alan Parker Memorial Trophy, Billy Thompson; Arthur Lamb Memorial Trophy, Harry Vaughan.

2ndXI Batting: Kian Larmour; 2ndXI Bowling: Sachin George; 2ndXI Most Improved: Maddie Wood; 2ndXI Players Player of the Year: Sachin George.

3rdXI Batting: Will Allan; 3rdXI Bowling: Sam Garroway; 3rdXI Most Improved: Cody Meagan; 3rdXI Players Player of the Year: Cody Meagan.
4thXI Batting: Tom Green; 4thXI Bowling: Shane Tyson; 4thXI Most Improved: Thomas Spires; 4thXI Players Player of the Year: Tom Green.
Medals were awarded to the following for scoring centuries – Sachin George, Tom Green and Stephen Holliday.
Two bowlers also claimed hat-tricks – Jordan Hill and Harry Keeler while several players were also recognised for claiming five wickets – Thomas Spires, Sachin George and Lewis Keeler

The clubs 30 All Stars and Dynamo’s were all presented with medals while Harry Keeler, Kian Larmour, Billy Thompson and Maddie Wood were all recognised for playing for Cumbria.
