Brian ‘Billy’ Williams has been all-things Penrith FC for many years, and is currently celebrating the laying of a new 3G surface at Frenchfield.
It seemed the perfect time to link-up with Billy and chat about his time at the club.
He had started his football career with Carlisle Unioted and Darlington, playing over 20 Division Three North games for the Quakers.
At Penrith he has been player, manager and chairman and here he reflects on his long career and involvement with the game – with also reference to Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck.
You can hear his recollections here….
