Whitehaven have announced the re-signing of Connor Holliday on a 12-month deal which will see the second rower complete a 10th season at the LEL Arena.
Holliday, 28, first signed for the club ahead of the 2015 season and made his Haven debut on the wing against Halifax in the opening game in a 16-44 home defeat.
Holliday has gone on to make 169 appearances for Haven scoring 34 tries, 61 goals and 1 drop goal for a combined points total of 259.
In more recent years Holliday has found his natural home at second row and in 2023 made 25 appearances, starting in all but one of them, scoring two tries.
On extending his stay at the LEL Arena, Holliday said: “I’ve been here a while and I really enjoy it. I owe the club a lot. I still think my best rugby is in front of me so hopefully in 2024 I can show that and make a real good go of it.”
Holliday becomes the seventh confirmed member of the 2024 Championship squad with more announcements coming in the next few weeks as the club continue to build for next season.
