Keighley Cougars have signed a second Australian after his departure from Whitehaven’s LEL Arena.
Forward Lachlan Lanskey has followed fellow countryman Alex Bishop to Cougar Park.
Both were among seven players that Whitehaven announced last month would be leaving the Championship club.
Bishop had been with the club for two injury-ravaged season while Lanskey only arrived for the start of last season. He made 24 appearances scoring one try against London Broncos in August.
Lanskey, 26, had come through the junior systems at NRL side Brisbane Broncos as well representing Queensland at Under 16’s, Under 18’s and Under 20’s.
He had been playing for Brisbane Tigers in the Queensland cup prior to joining Whitehaven.
