More talks are planned on the future structure of Rugby League below Super League level.
Bet for 2024 it will remain as the Championship and League One following talks last week.
Any change in structure would only be brought in for 2025 if agreement can be reached.
There had been a proposal for two Championship Conferences – east and west – containing 11 and 10 clubs respectively.
But there has been no further comment on whether that was discussed at the talks between the clubs.
League One clubs in particular – including Workington Town – have been concerned at the reduced number of fixtures next season following the resignation of London Skolars.
Additional fixtures are being envisaged for the League One clubs in 2024, but just how that would be incorporated into the programme has not been confirmed.
Clubs are to consider their options later this month before the 2024 fixture list is finalised.
