Cyclist injured after altercation with motorcyclist near Longtown

A cyclist has been injured following an altercation with a motorcyclist near Longtown.

Police are investigating the incident that happened at 1.30pm on Saturday October 14 on the road towards Alstonby Hall, off the A6071.

The cyclist, a man in his fifties, was riding his bike when a man appeared on a red motorcycle.

It is reported there was a disagreement between the two before the motorcyclist kicked the cyclist. He fell off his bicycle and sustained injuries including to his arm.

Officers want to identify the motorcyclist and are asking for any witnesses or anyone with further information to contact them.

The motorcyclist was white, with a local accent and was dressed all in black. He was riding a red tourer-style motorbike.
