Cumbrian rescue teams were called out to assist a sea swimmer earlier this week.
Silloth RNLI were called at 12.33pm to reports of a person in the water north of Southerness.
The volunteer crew onboard the lifeboat liaised with HM Coastguard throughout the call out.
The swimmer in question was eventually found safe and well on the shore, heading back to the roadside.
