A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following an afternoon assault in Carlisle.
The incident happened at around 4.25pm yesterday, October 27, on Victoria Viaduct.
The 30-year-old victim was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary for treatment,
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward, as well as anyone with dashcam footage who was in the area at the time.
