An urgent road closure has come into force in a village near Carlisle.
The temporary road closure of the U1157 in Burthwaite began yesterday, Thursday, November 2, and will last for five days.
The road is closed to vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists to allow Cumberland Council’s highways team to carry out urgent repairs.
