
A dog who went missing when his owner was assaulted in a Carlisle park has been found in Blackpool – and police have arrested two people.
The victim was walking his dog in Bitts Park on Monday October 16 when he was assaulted by a man at about 12.30am.
The dog – Zen, a two-year-old female Labrador and Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross – became separated from the victim.
Police said they recovered Zen today, November 8.
A 22-year-old man and 18-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicions of robbery and remain in police custody.
