Officers have arrested a man on suspicion of burglary following reports of the crime in South Cumbria.
Police have received reports over the past two weeks of incidents where sheds and garages have been broken into and items taken around the rural Ulverston area.
A 42-year-old man, from the Ulverston area, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
