Workington Reds’ loanee Kofi Moore is going back to Oldham Athletic earlier than planned.
The teenage winger had made a good impression in his time at Borough Park after joining the Reds at the start of the season.
Sharp and lively, with an eye for goal, Moore has been recalled by Oldham although Reds would have liked to keep him until the agreed date of early January.
Moore has decided to return to the National Conference League side in the hope of getting an opportunity in the first team, boosted by some good displays while on loan with the Cumbrians.
Reds also have Kitt Nelson (Preston), Joe Bunney (Stalybridge Celtic), Josh O’Brien (Carlisle) and Dannen Francis (Blackpool) on loan with the last three all joining in the last fortnight and making their first starts at Guiseley on Saturday.
Reds play the second of four successive away games on Saturday when they travel to Basford United.
