Four men have been released on bail amid the Paul Taylor murder investigation.

A 37-year-old man, from Carlisle, and a 17-year-old boy, from Appleby, were arrested earlier in the week on suspicion of assisting an offender have been released on police bail.

Two 19-year-old men who were also arrested have now been released on bail.

Detectives are working round-the-clock to find Paul, who has not been seen since October 17 after leaving his home in Annan, Scotland – with this remaining a key focus of the investigation.

Police are particularly keen to seek information about Paul’s movements or the movements of his car – a blue Vauxhall Corsa, registration PY18 DYO – between the night of October 17 and the morning of October 19.

Anyone with information or who may have seen Paul or his car in the Carlisle west area, specifically the Yewdale, Sandsfield Park and Burgh Road areas, is asked to contact officers.

Enquires are ongoing and officers are continuing to appeal for information from the public to assist with the investigation
