Workington Victoria kick off winter series in Union Jack Club

Workington Victoria kicked-off their winter series with a show for old cocks in the Union Jack Club last night.

John Devlin was the judge and he had to cast his experienced eye over 66 birds in a show sponsored by the hosts, the Union Jack Club.

After his deliberations he gave tickets to:  1, Evans and Abraham; 2, A. Hayton; 3, 4, Williams and Hadfield; 5, J. and A. Edgar; 6, Varty, son and grandson; 7, A. Bromley and co; 8, D. Wilson.

Afterwards John presented Kevin with his cash prize and a special Union Jack Medallion.

The next show on Friday, November 24 is for old hens with judging at 7-30pm.
