A Carlisle club will have to wait a little longer to find out whether or not it will lose its licence.
Bosses from Truth nightclub were due to face councillors and officers from Cumbria police at a meeting of Cumberland Council’s Licensing Sub Committee at the Civic Centre in Carlisle on Thursday.
However, by the time the hearing began members of the committee were informed that a representative of the club was unable to attend.
Councillor Trevor Allison (Dalston and Burgh, Conservative) suggested that it should be adjourned to a later date and the rest of the panel agreed.
The date for the rescheduled hearing is yet to be set.
