National Conference League new boys Distington will start life in Division Three with a Cumbrian derby.
The action gets underway on the March 2 when 46 of 47 clubs across four divisions will start their programmes, all with dreams of play-offs, promotion, and silverware.
Distington, elected to the League for 2024, left the Cumberland ARL as champions and they will face old friends in the first game – away to Hensingham.
The only Conference League side not involved on opening day will be Seaton Rangers who are the odd team out in an 11strong Third Division.
There’s also a Cumbrian derby in Division Two with newly promoted Ellenborough set to entertain Barrow Island.
Millom also earned promotion and they start the season in Division Two with a trip to Wigan St Jude’s.
Cumbria now has three representatives in the top flight – the Premier Division – and two of them start with home fixtures.
Newly promoted Egremont Rangers resume life at the highest level with a visit from West Hull while Wath Brow Hornets are at home to Rochdale Mayfield.
Kells must travel for their first game of the season, heading to York to take on newly promoted Heworth.
