A late equaliser denied Carlisle United their first League One win for nearly two months when they drew 2-2 at home to Northampton Town.
Kieron Bowie, on loan from Fulham, came up with the 93rd minute leveller when he turned home a long throw which had been flicked on by Sam Sherring.
United, who stay entrenched in the League One drop zone, had done well to come from 1-0 behind at half-time to lead going into the time which was added on.
Shaun McWilliams had put the Cobblers ahead on 30 minutes when he was helped by a deflection which saw his shot elude home keeper Tomas Holy.
Jack Armer scored a 67th minute equaliser with a cross-shot and when Ryan Edmondson scored his first goal of the season nine minutes from the end hopes were raised for a crucial home win.
Edmondson had done well to get on the end of a fine Jack Robinson cross and head home.
The Blues could not see it through, however, and Northampton were celebrating after Bowie’s late point saver.
