Promising Barrow youngster Sean Etaluku has joined non-league side Avro FC on a 28-day loan.

Etaluku, 20, joined Barrow’s B Team back in the summer having previously played for Burnley’s academy teams.

Since then, he has gone on to make four appearances for Barrow’s first team. He even scored for Pete Wild’s side during their 2-1 victory over Liverpool U21s in the EFL Trophy, whilst he also made his League Two debut when he came off the bench away at Stockport County earlier in the season.

Etaluku said: “I’m really excited to go out on loan to play some minutes and get an opportunity to show what I can do in the men’s game.

“In an attacking sense this’ll be a real opportunity as I’m naturally a winger, so it’ll be a real opportunity to show the qualities I have in front of goal and It’s my preferred position so I’m excited to hopefully get some minutes there as well.”

Last season he spent time on loan from Burnley to Mossley in NPL West Division where he appeared 13 times.
