Appeal after attempted burglary in Distington

Police are appealing for information after an attempted burglary in Distington.

The incident happened on Main Street on November 29 between 3pm and 4pm.

Officers are looking for information on two men who were seen in the area attempting to gain entry to a property.

One of the men is described as 5ft 6in, of a skinny build with blond hair, blues eyes and stubble. He was wearing a blue woolly hat, tracksuit bottoms, and a navy parker jacket.

The other man was about 6ft, medium build with brown hair and a short beard. He was wearing an orange hat, dark jacket and tracksuit bottoms.
