Man v Fat Football’s Carlisle league learned its new league leaders after a rain-soaked round of fixtures on Monday.
This week’s matches were thoroughly entertaining, with high-quality play and passing moves on show throughout as the ball fizzed off the slick turf.
Saint-Eat Again Greens’ commanding 12-4 win over Borussia Muncheneverything took them to the top of the table. Fatarselona Oranges narrowly lost out to Parmesan Belgrade Blacks with the final score of 10-11. Elsewhere, Scran United Reds put Fatburn Rovers Blues to the sword, securing a 13-7 win.
With just two games remaining for each team, it is Saint Eat-Again Greens who lead the way, with Fatarsealona Oranges in second on goal difference.
Individual performances lit up the pitches on Monday, with Man of the Match awards showcasing each team’s standout players.

For the second week in a row, Jamie Dunn was the Blacks’ star man, supporting his team all over the pitch from defence to attack, making things happen with great link up play and grabbing a goal.
For the Blues, Max Reside-Robb dictated the game, kept creating chances and helped drive the team forward.
For the Greens, Mike Cameron was clinical “like Lineker in front of goal”, energetic up and down the pitch and made space for his teammates to run in to.
Oranges’ John Nicol was awarded Man of the Match by the opposition captain for organising his team well at the back and stopping a lot of attacks.

For the Reds, Dale McDougall was “like a Duracell bunny”, didn’t stop running and put a real shift in for his team bombing forward.
Finally, Whites’ Si Patrick scored two brilliant goals, working hard the whole game, getting up and down the pitch trying to make things happen for his side.
The league’s head coach, Beverley Young, said “Some great focus on eating habits has brought a well-deserved 10% body weight loss certificate for Ben Snell in Oranges and a worthy 5% for Kev Brough in Blacks.
“It was great to see six hat-trick goals scored for consistent weight loss. Congratulations to Reds for having this week’s three top weight loss winners with Captain Paul Sewell topping the list at 2.2kg.
“It’s been a great week for the club, building our relationship with Carlisle United as we welcomed Nigel Davidson, Equality Diversity and Inclusion Officer to see what we’re doing here in Harraby. We’re excited to see how this develops!”
