A May bank holiday beer festival will be held in West Cumbria.
Organised by Cockermouth’s Crooked River Brewing Co and Low Hall The Lakes wedding and events venue, between Lorton and Cockermouth, the festival will showcase seven breweries from across the North West, live music and food.
The brewery and the venue have worked together on several weddings, and they decided they wanted to get locals in on the action with the North West Beer Festival over the May bank holiday weekend.
Breweries will include Lakes Brew Co, Tractor Shed, Hawkhead, and Crooked River. Music will be provided by Steel Foxes, Home Grown DJs and Simon Kennedy, The Antics, Reggie, Northern Threads and Danny Maudling.
Organisers promise a family-friendly day on the Saturday, with face painting, games, flower crown workshops and more.
Tickets include a shuttle to and from Cockermouth.
