
A new service has launched to connect cleaners and housekeepers with businesses on a shift-by-shift basis.
Top Up Talent has been created by Fiona Shore and is a cutting-edge online platform designed to connect experienced and reliable housekeepers/cleaners with firms.
Businesses that have ad hoc cleaning needs – because of holiday, sickness, increased seasonal demand – can post their available shifts on the database and cleaners who have signed up and fit the criteria are matched to them.
Fiona said: “As a local accommodation business owner and cleaner within it, I know how challenging it is to find housekeepers/cleaners, but I also know cleaners who are trying to fill their availability.”
We’ve designed Top up Talent so that:
- Businesses can flexibly top up their staff, for example due to holidays, sickness or increased seasonal demand. Once registered with Top up Talent, businesses are able to request a housekeeper/cleaner for a specified date, time and hourly pay range.
- Housekeepers/cleaners can top up their earnings at times they’re available to work. As part of the free registration process, individuals say when they’re available to work, which locations they’re willing to cover and for what hourly rate. Only shifts meeting their criteria will be offered to them to accept or decline.
Fiona added: “We’re currently trialling the online platform in Cumbria and are particularly interested in hearing from experienced housekeepers/cleaners or cleaning companies.”
