
Only three fixtures went ahead across the Cumberland County League on Saturday thanks to the recent wet weather, however, there was still plenty of action and loads of goals to enjoy,
In the Premier Division, Unisun ended their league campaign on a high with a 4-1 victory against Whitehaven Miners Social.
Despite a quiet first half, things hotted up in the second half when Miners took the lead through Alex Parr on the 51st minute. Three minutes later Unisun were level thanks to Tom McDonald.
Dorin Covaci put Carlisle-based Unisun 2-1 up after 62 minutes and he then extended their lead eight minutes later.
In the 85th minute, Kian Maker got Athletic’s forth goal of the day meaning Unisun end the season with 19 points and sit in fourth place.
However, they can still be caught by Whitehaven Miners Social who are fifth only five points behind with still three games to play.
In Division One, doubles apiece from Alfie West and Dan Abbot helped give Keswick a 6-2 win against Windscale Reserves. Charlie Robson and Dec Robinson also scored for Keswick who are still unbeaten in the league and sit in second place, only two places behind leaders Cockermouth.

In the Divisional Cup Group A, a Louie Elliot hat-trick ensured Wigton Harriers gained a 3-0 win against Workington Reserves.
