Mirehouse bagged their fourth league win of the season last night in the Cumberland County League Division One when they beat Windscale Reserves 5-1.

Bradley Dryden helped himself to a hat trick with George West and Josh Foster netting the other goals for Mirehouse.

Owen Bell was on the score sheet once again for Windscale Reserves and that toom to 11 goals for the season.

In Division One, Keswick were prevented from closing the gap on Cockermouth in the title race when their away fixture at Whitehaven Miners Social Development was postponed due to an unplayable pitch.

There’s a big game at Milltoft tomorrow where Maryport Athletic entertain Whitehaven Miners Social when a win would earn them the County League Premier Division title.

Also playing tomorrow are:

  • Division One – Bransty v Silloth; Keswick v Mirehouse.
  • Divisional Cup – Dearham Utd v Whitehaven Miners Social Development; Whitehaven reserves v Wigton Harriers; Workington reserves v Cockermouth.
  • Ken Glover Memorial – Gosforth v Aspatria.
