
£268,000 projects to improve a West Cumbrian road has been completed.
The improvements at Low Road and Monkway Brow, Whitehaven, included resurfacing, refreshed existing road markings and replacement of ironwork.
Work was carried out between February and March by contractor DSD Construction Limited.
Both projects were delivered as part of the Department for Transport’s Pothole Fund. The Low Road project cost £146,000 and the Monkwray Brow project cost £122,000.
