Emergency services are currently dealing with a one-vehicle collision involving a HGV on A689 near Junction 44 in Carlisle.
The A689 is currently closed between Linstock/Brampton roundabout and Junction 44.
The road is expected to be closed for some time while recovery takes place.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
