Maryport Athletic have made another final after victory in the Cumberland County League Whitehaven Cup semi final.

Ashtyn Skillen, Ciaran Booty and Ethan Weir were on the scoresheet to help Athletic to a 3-0 win against Wigton Harriers.

They will face Keswick in the final after they got past Whitehaven Miners Social in their semi final clash. Jamie Little and Alfie West were both on target for Keswick in their 2-0 victory. The date and venue for the final is still to be confirmed.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Cockermouth grabbed another win to keep them on course for the Division One title. Luke Graham led the way with a hat trick in a 5-0 win over Bransty Rangers as Sam Wright and Dan Dobson added the others.

The other Division One game due to be played was postponed after Mirehouse struggled to field a team for their match with Dearham United.

In the Ken Glover Memorial Cup, Dorin Covaci hit four to help Unisun get past Gosforth in a 5-3 thriller. George Carter was Unisun’s other goal scorer with Gosforth goals been provided by Sam Wordsworth (2) and Kieran Tomlinson.

Windscale Reserves got the better of Whitehaven Miners Social Development in the Divisional Cup Group B with a 2-1 win. Bobby Fitzpatrick and Kian Hoey grabbed the goals for Windscale with Ben McCarran hitting the back of the net for Miners.

The matches continue to come round quickly with more scheduled for Tuesday, all 6.30pm kick-offs:

Division One

  • Mirehouse v Keswick
