Jewellery was stolen in a daytime Carlisle burglary.
Burglars smashed the rear patio door of a house in Kingstown Road, between Windsor Way and Lowry Hill Road, on April 24 between 11am and 4pm.
The homeowners were out at work.
Police said they would like to speak to anyone in the area who may have seen any people or vehicles in the area at the time which could be connected to the offence, or any other suspicious activity, such as cold callers in the area, in the run-up to the offence.
Officers would particularly like to speak to anyone who has CCTV or Ring doorbell footage, which may be relevant to the investigation.
Police said they were aware of reports that men, purporting to be recently released from prison, have been attempting to sell household items locally, in the last few weeks, which may or may not be connected to the burglary.
