Cumbria squad named for Gill Burns County Championship

Cumbria have named a squad of 24 players for the Gill Burns County Championship which starts on May 19.

The Cumbrians will play three games in their group, which are made up of two home fixtures and one away.

They start on Sunday, May 19 with a home fixture against Staffordshire and are at home again on Saturday, May 25 against Oxfordshire.

Cumbria will complete their Pool programme with a long trip to Essex on June 2.

The Cumbria squad is: Beth Adams, Nicole Benson, Sophie Bowness, Charlotte Cammack, Lauren Coulson, Juliet Porter, Beth Sunderland, Sophie Weir, Rachael Wood (all Workington Finches); Lucy Branthwaite, Clare Powell (both Upper Eden Eagles); Amber Byers, Meagan Byers, Allysia Hine, Hayley Hodgson, Siobhan Lamb, Fleur Stanton (all Kendal Wasps); Philippa Chadwick, Kim Fitzmaurice, Chrissie Hadfield, Vanessa Hagan, Bethan Lloyd, Megan Phillips-Craig, Josie Scrimgour, Sarah Smyth, Hannah Wilkinson (all Carlisle Cougars); Zelia Clash, Bethani Fearns, Leanne Grave, Lilly Hodgson, Aimee Hogarth, Emma Powell, Meg Todd (all Keswick Falcons); Fiona Cowperthwaite, Caron Davidson (both Penrith Panthers).
