West Cumbrian fanciers will be flying on Sunday this week after the scheduled trace from Cannock was put back 24 hours.
The weather forecast for Saturday is not favourable so the race marking will be on Saturday for a race the following day.
It’s the fourth race of the season and the first three from Garstang, Charnock Richard and Appleton have all been good with excellent returns.
Cannock took over from Stafford as the race-point used by the Cumbrian organisations about four years ago and is just short of 150 miles to Workington.
