Furness are going to stage the Twenty20 Cup Super 12 Stage qualifier on May 19 when Cumbria bid to make the grand final.
By topping Group One of the NCCA competition Cumbria were given the honour of hosting the qualifier stage of the Twenty20.
It has now been agreed that this will be held at the Furness club and the other teams involved are Herefordshire and Lincolnshire.
Cumbria will play in the first match (probably against Lincolnshire) which is scheduled to start at 10am.
The third match (scheduled for 4.30) rounds off the day and would be between Herefordshire and the winners of the first match, so to avoid a dead rubber.
The winners of the day progressing to finals day at Chester Boughton Hall on May 26 (reserve day May 27). NRR used if each team wins one game.
If there is no play on the day or only one game is played Cumbria will progress as they had the better record (on NRR) of the three sides in the Group stages.
In other scenarios it starts getting complicated and everyone will no doubt be consulting the competition rules.
The other three Super 12 Stages will be contested between:
- Oxfordshire hosting Dorset and Cambridgeshire
- Berkshire hosting Shropshire and Cornwall
- Norfolk hosting Staffordshire and Hertfordshire
