
A HGV driver in his 40s has died following a collision on the A7 when his vehicle left the road and collided with a building.
The incident happened yesterday, Wednesday May 22, on the A7 at Scotsdyke, near the border with Scotland at around 4.10pm.
The driver of the HGV, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said that it this time, it was believed no other vehicles were involved.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened or the moments immediately before or after.
